CARTIER SM VENDOME Ref.81004

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Vendome, one of Cartier's iconic models, is characterized by lugs supporting the watch face at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions. The tricolor case, consisting of yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold, adds a touch of elegance. Its quartz movement allows for a thin profile, making it easy to wear without interfering with cuffs. The lacquer white dial resembling porcelain, adorned with Roman numerals, exudes a dignified aura. The current strap is a custom-made crocodile strap designed specifically for the Vendôme by our company. It comes with original straps, buckles, and a box, making it a collectible piece.

The case exhibits no visible scratches and retains a beautiful shine. The dial shows the typical crack often seen in Cartier models of this era, albeit to a minor extent. These are visible only when viewed under certain angles and light reflections, ensuring peace of mind after being disassembled and cleaned by us.

Vendome was named after Louis Cartier was inspired by the wheel attachment of a carriage while passing through Place Vendôme in Paris. An anecdote suggests that Ernest Hemingway, the renowned American novelist known for "The Old Man and the Sea," was present during this inspiration. Adding the Vendôme to your daily ensemble promises to elevate your style to the next level.
