ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE Ref.1500 Radial Dial

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Ref.1500, introduced in the early 1960s, featuring the Cal.1570 similar to the flagship Datejust but in a slightly smaller size. The Ref.1500 comes in various dial variations, and this one showcases a radial dial where the minute markers are emphasized with the same length as the indices. The radial design radiating from the center on the sunburst-finished silver dial is captivating. Despite its classic case and dial color, the design, seemingly focused on legibility, exudes a robustness reminiscent of sports watches. It comes with the original Rolex bracelet, Ref.7835/357 Oyster bracelet.

The Cal.1570 is a chronometer-grade movement. Produced from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s, it stands as a masterpiece movement by Rolex, balancing precision and durability. The case, slightly worn but well-proportioned, exudes robustness. The dial is in perfect condition, retaining its sunray finish and print texture from the era. The luminous dots and hands show no signs of degradation, presenting an excellent beige color. No tarnishing is observed on the hands and indices, and the mirror finish adds a beautiful shine. The rarity of the dial makes its pristine condition a significant highlight.

In today's watch industry, where sports models often steal the spotlight, Rolex's standard models remain the brand's main focus, a product that has been diligently developed throughout the brand's long history. Regardless of fashion, business, or occasion, Rolex's Oyster Perpetual provides a special sense of excitement every time you pick it up—a testament to the enduring charm of Rolex.
