黒×白のツートンダイヤルのプレシーマスター。通称「タキシードダイヤル」や「ブルズアイ」とに似たデザインで、1950年代特有の意匠が現代にはない独自の存在感を放っています。針はドーフィンハンド、インデックスはクサビ形が主体で、3, 6, 9, 12時位置にはアラビア数字が配されています。ケースの形状は、プレまたは初期のシーマスターRef.2576同様。このRef.2493はケース径が36.5mmあり、ジャンボサイズです。ラグが非常に長く、腕乗りの良いケースです。ムーブメントには半回転式自動巻きのCal.332を搭載しており、コツコツとした振動が腕に伝わり、自動巻きへの進化を体感できる趣深いキャリバーです。

ケースは整ったコンディションで、大きな傷もなくクリアな印象を保っています。裏蓋には少々打痕があります。ダイヤルはエイジングが最小限で、スモールセコンドにはレコード状の細かい彫刻が施されています。ブラックミラーダイヤルは、パーフェクトな艶感を残しています。針には目立つ傷がなく、きれいな状態を維持しています。インデックスもくすみがなく、針とインデックスに塗られた夜光は美しいベージュに変化し、見事なヴィンテージ感を演出しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This black-and-white two-tone dial pre-Seamaster, often referred to as a "Tuxedo Dial" or "Bullseye," exudes a distinctive charm unique to 1950s design, offering a presence not found in modern timepieces. The dial features dauphine hands and wedge-shaped indices, with Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions. The case shape mirrors early Seamaster designs like Ref. 2576, while this particular Ref. 2493 stands out with its jumbo-sized 36.5mm case. The extended lugs provide excellent wrist presence and comfort. Inside, it houses the Cal. 332 bumper automatic movement, which delivers a tactile vibration on the wrist—a nostalgic nod to the evolution of automatic winding technology.

The case is in excellent condition, with no major scratches and a clear, well-preserved appearance, though the case back shows minor marks. The dial has minimal aging, with finely engraved concentric details on the small seconds subdial. The black mirror finish remains perfectly lustrous. The hands and indices are free of significant blemishes, while the lume has aged to a beautiful beige tone, enhancing its vintage appeal. Fully serviced by our team, it is in superb working order.
