COMMENT

洗練された印象を受ける樽型Cラインのケースは、ジェラルド・ジェンタがデザインを手がけ、1970年前後によく見られました。後期型のガラス型風防に比べ、前期型のドーム型風防で、ヴィンテージテイストが堪能できます。 細かく施されたフルーテッドベゼルはラグジュアリー感が強く、オメガのハイエンドモデルらしい佇まいです。ダイヤルは麻生地のようなテクスチャが爽やかさを感じさせるリネンダイヤル。ゴールドダイヤルではなくシルバーなので、さっぱりとした印象を受けます。日付と曜日はとても珍しい、アラビア語表記です。バーインデックスのセンター位置と、ペンシルハンドはブラックの塗装が施されており、読時性に優れています。搭載ムーブメントは名機クロノメーターCal.751。2段引きでの日付の早送りが行え、曜日は針を回して設定します。

ケースは若干の打痕が見られるものの、良いプロポーションをしています。ラグのエッジ部にある鏡面の面取りが綺麗に残っています。ダイヤルは大変良いコンディションですが、一点7分方向にシミが見られます。写真ほど気になるものではありません。リネンダイヤル特有の細やかな光の反射はフルーテッドベゼルと相まって、高級機らしい華やかさです。インデックスと針のブラックのプリント、鏡面仕上げは劣化がなく、当時のままを保っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みで、パワーリザーブは48直2条を確認しています。ご購入後すぐ、ご使用いただけます。ビデオを掲載しています。

金無垢のCラインケースは重厚感があり、豊かな着用感です。単体で見ると普通のイエローゴールドに感じられますが、この個体はケースの色味が他のRef.168.029 金無垢の個体に比べ、若干イエローが赤みを帯びているように感じます。アラブ圏では、ローズゴールドが好まれる傾向にあるため、オメガの意図的なものかもしれません。アラビア語の個体は稀有ですので、ぜひご検討ください。

The barrel-shaped C-line case, designed by Gerald Genta, exudes a refined impression and was commonly seen around 1970. In contrast to the later models with a glass-type crystal, this early model features a domed crystal, offering a taste of vintage aesthetics. The meticulously crafted fluted bezel imparts a strong sense of luxury, embodying the dignified essence of Omega's high-end models. The linen dial, reminiscent of linen fabric, adds a refreshing touch. Unlike a gold dial, the silver dial gives a crisp impression. A rare feature is the Arabic day and date display. The center positions of the bar indices and pencil hands, painted in black, enhance readability. It houses the renowned Chronometer Cal.751 movement, allowing for a quick date change with a two-stage pull, and the day can be set by turning the hands.

While the case shows some minor scratches, it maintains a pleasing proportion. The mirrored chamfer on the edges of the lugs is neatly preserved. The dial is in excellent condition, with a minor stain observed at the 7 o'clock position, which is not as noticeable as in the photos. The subtle reflections characteristic of the linen dial, combined with the fluted bezel, create a luxurious and glamorous appearance. The black printing on the indices and hands, as well as the mirror-polished finish, show no signs of deterioration, preserving the original look. After being disassembled and cleaned by us, it has a confirmed power reserve of 48 hours with a 2-bar beat. It is ready for use immediately after purchase, and a video is available for viewing.

The solid gold C-line case imparts a sense of weightiness and a rich wearing experience. While it may appear like ordinary yellow gold when viewed individually, this piece exhibits a slightly reddish tint to the yellow, distinguishing it from other Ref.168.029 solid gold pieces. This subtle variation in color may be a deliberate choice by Omega, considering the preference for rose gold in the Arab region. The Arabic day and date display makes this piece particularly rare and worth considering.
