OMEGA Seamaster Ref.14762

COMMENT

COMMENT

This Seamaster captivates with its luxurious diamond-cut indices, featuring distinctive dauphine hands that enhance visibility. The Omega logo and the calendar frame exhibit an upright design with intricate cuttings. Housed in the Seamaster 1st generation case, the bezel presents a two-faced structure with both a flat and slanted surface.

Equipped with the durable and beautifully crafted Caliber 562 movement, featuring a red gold-plated rotor, it belongs to the popular and highly regarded <500 series caliber>. Post the 550 series, Omega transitioned to calibers that minimized unnecessary elements, resulting in a sleek and refined mechanism. This change allowed for reduced design restrictions, resulting in a more stylish face.

The dial showcases uniform patina across its surface. The hands exhibit some aging, enhancing the robustness of the dauphine hands. The indices are in beautiful condition. The case reveals minor scratches, contributing to the overall vintage charm. The lugs feature well-preserved chamfered edges.

This timepiece, with its diamond indices, speaks to the essence of vintage watches. Despite its high-quality craftsmanship, its affordability is maintained due to aging. With a sought-after dial, this watch is a compelling choice for enthusiasts.
