COMMENT

1974年製のパーペチュアルデイト。鮮やかなブルーダイヤルにホワイトプリントのレター、バーインデックスと針のスッキリとしたデザインが、70年代らしい洗練された印象を与えます。インデックスは凸型で、センター部分が光を反射しない仕上げとなっており、輝きのある文字盤でも高い視認性を確保。さらに、6時位置下部には「σ T SWISS T σ」表記のシグマダイアルが配置されており、1974年ならではのディテールが楽しめます。このシグマダイアルは、インデックスに貴金属が使用されていることを示していると言われています。ブレスレットはフォールデッドのオイスターブレスレット（Ref.7835）を装備し、エンドリンクは357、ノークラスプデイト仕様。1974、1975年製のものはクラスプコードの刻印がないブレスレットのため、正しい組み合わせです。

ケースには細かな傷が見られるものの、全体的なプロポーションは良好で、ヴィンテージらしい堂々とした存在感を放っています。ダイヤルは非常に良好な状態で、ブルーダイヤル特有の塗料剥がれがなく、鮮やかな輝きを維持しています。レタープリントの劣化も一切なく美しい仕上がりです。針とインデックスにはメッキの剥がれが見られず、鏡面仕上げの反射がきらりと光ります。また、トリチウムは崩れのない状態で、経年によるベージュカラーがヴィンテージらしい魅力を引き立てています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

搭載されているのは、クロノメーター仕様のキャリバー1570。デイトジャストにも採用されている信頼性の高いムーブメントで、日常使用に耐えうる安定感があります。この堅牢性こそ、ロレックスが築き上げたタフなイメージの象徴です。フラットなエンジンターンドベゼルと深みのあるブルーダイヤルの組み合わせが絶妙なバランスを演出し、控えめでありながらも確かな存在感を放つスポーティな逸品に仕上がっています。

A Perpetual Date from 1974, this piece features a striking blue dial with white printed text, paired with minimalist bar indexes and hands that exude a sleek and sophisticated 1970s aesthetic. The indexes are raised with a matte-finished center, ensuring excellent legibility even against the dial’s radiant surface. At the 6 o’clock position, the “σ T SWISS T σ” marking identifies this as a Sigma dial—a hallmark of the era, indicating the use of precious metals in the indexes. Complementing the case is a folded Oyster bracelet (Ref. 7835) with 357 end links and a clasp without a date code, a correct combination for bracelets produced in 1974-1975.  

The case shows minor surface scratches but retains excellent proportions, showcasing a vintage presence with confidence. The dial is in outstanding condition, free from the common paint deterioration associated with blue dials, and continues to exhibit its vibrant hue. The letter printing remains crisp and intact, while the hands and indexes display no plating wear, reflecting light beautifully with their polished finish. The tritium lume, fully intact, has aged to a soft beige, enhancing its vintage charm. This watch has been fully serviced by our team.  

Powering this timepiece is the chronometer-grade Caliber 1570, a highly reliable movement also found in Datejust models. Known for its robust construction, it exemplifies the durability that defines Rolex's reputation. The flat engine-turned bezel perfectly complements the deep blue dial, resulting in a harmonious design that balances understated elegance with sporty appeal.
