GMTマスター Ref.1675のマットダイヤル マーク1です。マーク1は「ROLEX」の「E」の真ん中の横棒が長い「ロングE」が特徴であり、初期のマーク1はさらに0.5と呼ばれる細分化されたバリエーションも存在します。今回の2.9Milはマーク1の最終期にあたり、マットダイヤルらしい大きな三角のGMT針が初めて採用されたモデルです。夜光塗料がミラーダイヤル時代のものから改良され、UVライトに微反応のトリチウムです。ダイヤルはSINGER社製になります。ベゼルは12の「2」にセリフのあるファット仕様で、濃紺とゴールドがかったヴィンテージ感あるインサートを備えています。フォールデッドの20mmオイスターブレスレットRef.7836、エンドリンク280、クラスプデイト70/1が組み合わされています。

ケースとベゼルの状態の良さが、この品を格別なものにしています。ケースはほとんど傷や痩せが見られず、最高のプロポーションを維持しています。ベゼルインサートは、若干紫色を帯びた暗い上品な青色、赤が淡く渋い紅赤色の均一な退色をみせ、使用傷がほとんど見られません。太いフォントは、経年によるものでしょうか金と銀の中間色で、この時期に製造されたサブマリーナーとGMTマスターにおいて見ることがありますが、希少なものです。このインサートは、トータルで素晴らしいヴィンテージテイストを感じさせます。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、ルミナスがベージュに焼けており、独特の表情を楽しめます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

マーク1は1967年から1972年に生産され、シリアルは1.6Milから2.9Milまで。1.9Milを境にMK0.5とMK1に細分化されます。細かい仕様変更を重ねてきたロレックスのヴィンテージスポーツモデルですが、こうした整合性のあるディテールにより、収集家の所有欲を満たす一品です。

The GMT-Master Ref. 1675 features the iconic matte Mark 1 dial. A hallmark of the Mark 1 is the "Long E," characterized by the extended middle horizontal bar of the "E" in "ROLEX." Early variations of the Mark 1, sometimes referred to as MK0.5, are even more specialized. This particular piece, with a 2.9 million serial number, represents the final period of the Mark 1 production, and it is among the first models to feature the matte dial’s larger triangular GMT hand. The luminous material has been updated from the mirror-dial era to tritium, which exhibits a subtle UV reaction. The dial is produced by SINGER.The bezel features a fat font insert, with the numeral "2" at the 12 o'clock position displaying a serif. The insert showcases a rich vintage charm with deep navy blue and a golden-hued fade. It is paired with a 20mm folded Oyster bracelet (Ref. 7836) with 280 end links and a clasp stamped with the date code 70/1.

The exceptional condition of the case and bezel elevates this piece to a truly remarkable level. The case exhibits minimal signs of wear, with no noticeable thinning, maintaining its original and superb proportions. The bezel insert displays a refined vintage character, with a deep, slightly purple-tinged blue and a muted crimson red, evenly faded to a sophisticated hue. Remarkably, it shows hardly any signs of usage. The thick font on the bezel, possibly a product of aging, has transitioned into a unique gold-silver tone—a rare feature occasionally observed in Submariner and GMT-Master models from this era. This insert, as a whole, exudes an outstanding vintage charm.The dial is in mint condition, with luminous markers that have aged to an even beige tone, adding warmth and character. The harmonious interplay between the dial, hands, and markers creates a cohesive aesthetic that is quintessentially vintage.
