1926年にROLEXのイギリス普及拡大のため誕生したディフュージョンブランド。ブランド名もイギリスの名門『チューダー家』にちなんだもので市民に親しみやすさをアピールしようとしていたことが窺い知れる。ヴィンテージチュードル人気のポイントはやはり、ケースやリューズなどROLEXのパーツが使われていること、チューダー家の薔薇の紋章をロゴに採用したことでロレックスと同じケースながら、ダイアルにはバラのロゴが配された“デカバラ”や“小バラ”と呼ばれるチュードル独自の人気モデルが誕生した。その後チュードルはロゴを盾をモチーフにしたものに変更し現在ではROLEXからは離れ、独自路線を進むことになる。

A self-winding Tudor date model, this vintage piece features the sought-after "Small Rose" logo, just before the transition to the shield emblem in 1968. The dial design stands out with bar indices that alternate between a matte and polished finish, adding a subtle yet playful touch to its simplicity. The arched "SELF-WINDING" inscription is a hallmark of pre-1970s models, quietly enhancing its vintage appeal. It is fitted with a folded Oyster bracelet (Ref. 7835) with 357 end links and a clasp dated 72/2.
