IWC Ref.R810A Dark GRAY DIAL

COMMENT

COMMENT

This IWC features a cool and refined design with a deep grey dial that is treated with vertical hairline brushing. The dark grey tone is rare for dials, and the matching grey background behind the date display ensures the white date print stands out distinctly. The applied bar indices are finished with a faceted pyramid shape, catching the light with every movement, giving the watch a remarkable presence. The case is a perfect circle, with strong three-dimensional lug cuts, and it features a distinctive fish-shaped crown, adding to its originality.

The case shows only minor scratches and retains excellent proportions. The watch maintains a clean, sophisticated look, making it versatile for various occasions. While colored dials of this era tend to show aging, this particular example is in outstanding condition, showing minimal signs of wear. The hands and indices are free of any tarnishing, and the mirror-finished surface on top remains perfect, allowing the watch’s rich expression to shine. The beige-colored luminous markers contrast beautifully against the dark grey dial, adding a touch of vintage charm with natural aging.

This IWC is in superb condition, making it an ideal choice for those looking to incorporate a vintage timepiece into a refined style. The demand for colored dials has been rising, and finding a quality example like this is becoming increasingly difficult. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to reach out soon.
