1960年代後半に登場した、セイコーの自動巻きGMTモデルです。Cal.6117Aを搭載し、通常の時分針に加えて赤い24時間針を備えています。双方向に回転する24時間ベゼルと赤い針を組み合わせることで、第二時間帯の時刻を読み取れる設計です。ガンメタルグレーダイヤルには放射状の仕上げを施し、バーインデックスと外周の夜光マーカーを配置。3時位置には日付表示を備え、文字盤には当時の防水性能を示す「WATER 70m PROOF」の表記が残ります。

ケースやベゼルには使用に伴う小傷や擦れが見られますが、ケースの立体的なフォルムとベゼルの刻みを保っています。ガンメタルグレーダイヤルは放射状の質感が明瞭で、文字盤の表記やインデックスも整った状態です。ベゼルはミントコンディションを保ち、目盛りも明瞭です。赤い24時間針と夜光マーカーが、ブラックダイヤルに鮮やかなアクセントを添えています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

Introduced in the late 1960s, this Seiko Navigator Timer Ref. 6117-8000 is an automatic GMT model powered by the Cal. 6117A. Alongside the conventional hour and minute hands, it features a red 24-hour hand. Used together with the bidirectional 24-hour bezel, it allows a second time zone to be read. The gunmetal-grey dial has a radial finish, with applied baton indexes and luminous markers around the perimeter. A date display is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the “WATER 70m PROOF” inscription records the water-resistance rating stated at the time.

The case and bezel show minor scratches and wear from use, while retaining the dimensional case profile and clearly defined bezel serrations. The gunmetal-grey dial preserves its radial texture, with the inscriptions and indexes remaining crisp. The bezel remains in mint condition, with its numerals and graduations clearly defined. The red 24-hour hand and luminous markers provide a vivid contrast against the dark dial. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

As the Navigator Timer name suggests, this model was designed to track the time in another region. Seiko’s contemporary instruction manuals presented it as a watch for pilots, maritime professionals, and international travelers.
