While the case itself is made of stainless steel, the bezel’s fine, crisp grooves offer a more refined and subdued impression compared to the engine-turned bezel found on models like the Ref.1603. The silver sunburst dial features a two-tier construction with a raised outer ring, hosting a minute track and dot-shaped tritium lume plots. The indexes are faceted on both sides for added brilliance, while the hands are designed with a beveled outer edge for improved legibility. This example comes with a folded-link Jubilee bracelet, complete with "55" end links and a clasp dated 4/71.

The case shows no significant damage and remains in excellent overall condition. The white gold fluted bezel displays no signs of wear or dulling—its edges remain sharp and well-defined. The sunburst dial has retained its clean silver tone without signs of aging, and the hands maintain their original shine despite minimal aging.
