シーマスター 1st ジェネレーション Ref.2577 と同系統のリファレンスに該当するこちらのモデルは、シーマスター表記が登場する直前の個体です。2577 は年式ごとにケース形状やムーブメントに微妙な変化が見られますが、この 1.19mil、-5は、その中でも最初期のモデルにあたり、横穴のある細いラグが特徴的です。ケースはベゼルのないツーピース構造で、ラグがケースバックよりも下に長く伸びています。ダイヤルはシルバー基調で、仕上げの工夫によりツートーンの立体感を演出しています。インデックスにはアラビア数字がギルト仕上げ、クサビ型がエンボス加工で表現されるなど、当時の高度なダイヤル製造技術が惜しみなく投入されています。搭載されているムーブメントは、シーマスター初期モデルに採用されていた信頼性の高い Cal.351 です。

Ref. 2577 underwent subtle changes in case design and movement over the years, and this early example, marked 1.19 million and -5, represents one of the initial versions. It features slender lugs with lateral holes, characteristic of the earliest models. The case has a two-piece construction without a bezel, with lugs extending below the case back. The dial is predominantly silver and employs a refined finish to create a striking two-tone effect. The indices combine gilt-applied Arabic numerals with recessed wedge shapes, showcasing the advanced dial-making techniques of the time.
