シーマスター1stジェネレーション、Ref.2577です。年式ごとにケースの形状やムーブメントに微細な変化が見られますが、この 1.23mil、-2は、その中でも最初期のモデルにあたり、横穴のある細いラグが特徴的です。ケースはベゼルのないツーピース構造で、ラグがケースバックよりも下に長く伸びています。ダイヤルはシルバー基調で、仕上げの工夫によりツートーンの立体感を演出しています。インデックスにはアラビア数字がギルト仕上げ、クサビ型がエンボス加工で表現されるなど、当時の高度なダイヤル製造技術が惜しみなく投入されています。搭載されているムーブメントは、シーマスター初期モデルに採用されていたバンパー式ムーブメント Cal.351 です。

ケースはプロポーションが美しく、目立ったダメージもほとんど見られません。装着感も優れ、腕を包み込むようなホールド感が魅力です。ダイヤルには角度をつけて光を反射させ、確認できる程度の経年変化が見られるものの、全体の色味は良好で、肉眼ではほとんど気になりません。針やインデックス、アプライドのΩロゴはくすみがなく、光を受けるたびに鮮やかな輝きを放ちます。ムーブメントは美しい赤銅メッキが施されており、極めて良好な状態を維持しています。

エネルギッシュなダイヤルデザインは、ヴィンテージらしい個性を存分に表現しています。特にクサビ型インデックスは独特のフォルムが目を引きます。こちらは夜光なしで、シーマスターの初期のものでも、シンプルな仕様となっています。このデザインのオメガは、センターセコンド Ref.2577、スモールセコンド Ref.2576 の両方を幅広く取り揃えておりますので、お好みに合わせてお選びいただけます。

The Seamaster 1st Generation, Ref. 2577, is a remarkable piece from Omega's early Seamaster line. Each production year saw subtle variations in case design and movement, and this 1.23 million, -2 serial number model stands out as one of the earliest examples. Its distinctive slim lugs with lateral holes define the design. The case features a two-piece structure without a bezel, with lugs extending below the case back for an elegant profile. The silver-tone dial utilizes a skillful finishing technique to create a dynamic two-tone effect. Its indices are a blend of gilt Arabic numerals and embossed wedge shapes, showcasing the advanced dial manufacturing techniques of the time. Inside is the bumper movement Cal. 351, renowned for its reliability and a hallmark of early Seamaster models.  

The case retains excellent proportions and shows minimal signs of wear, offering exceptional wrist comfort with its enveloping fit. The dial displays light aging visible under angled light but remains vibrant overall, with no noticeable issues to the naked eye. The hands, indices, and applied Ω logo are free of tarnish, gleaming beautifully when catching the light. The movement, adorned with copper-plated finishing, remains in superb condition.  

The energetic dial design exemplifies the individuality of vintage timepieces, particularly the unique wedge-shaped indices. This model features a clean, non-luminous configuration, adding to its refined simplicity. Both center seconds Ref. 2577 and small seconds Ref. 2576 variations of this design are available, offering versatile choices for collectors.
