CARTIER SM must de TANK Ref.5057001

COMMENT

The ivory Roman numeral dial is one of the most classic and popular choices within the Must de Cartier Tank collection. Its timeless ivory tone is beautifully complemented by blue steel hands and a blue sapphire cabochon crown. The Must series employs the **vermeil** technique, which involves coating sterling silver with a thick layer of gold. This meticulous and costly process imparts a luxurious finish to the pieces.

The case has been newly polished at our store, ensuring a pristine appearance with no visible scratches, including on the glass. While not noticeable to the naked eye, the dial does exhibit minor cracks typical of vintage Cartier models. The strap has been crafted to fit the Tank's original specifications, complete with an authentic Cartier buckle, allowing you to fully appreciate its originality.

With many years of experience handling Cartier timepieces, we take pride in offering a seamless service from procurement to maintenance in-house. This enables us to provide competitive pricing and confident after-sales support. Whether you require an overhaul, case refinishing, or strap replacement, we are happy to assist with any post-purchase maintenance needs.

Today renowned as a jeweller, Cartier was the first to create a true wristwatch back in 1904, when pocket watches were still the norm. The name "Tank" is derived from the Renault tanks that played a pivotal role during World War I. The Tank design pays homage to these vehicles. Among its various collections, the Must series stands out for its wide range of dial variations.
