1939年に30mmキャリバーが発表される直前の1938年に製造された、Cal.26.5SOBT2搭載のジャンボサイズのオメガです。ダイヤルはアール・デコ様式が際立つセクターデザイン。インデックスラインとミニッツラインはマットな仕上げが施されたツートン仕様で、上品なコントラストを生み出しています。針はブルースチール製で、ダイヤル外周に届きそうなほど長く、先端に向かって幅広になるフォルムが迫力を感じさせます。傾いた3と6のアラビア数字、クロスライン、そしてジャンボサイズながらこの時代ならではの余白の少ない構成も魅力です。バックルは当時のもので、メーカーオリジナルがなかったオメガが公式採用していたものです。

ケースは傷が少なく、カラトラバケースならではの洗練されたフォルムを維持。ケースサイドは均一な面を保ち、当時のヘアライン仕上げが目を引きます。目立つ傷もなく、全体にクリアな印象を与えます。ダイヤルには微細な傷が見られるものの、この年代のものとしては非常に良好なコンディションです。エイジングによる外周のミニッツレイルのくもりも、視認性を損なうほどではありません。針はくすみや傷がほとんどなく、美しい状態を保っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This is a jumbo-sized Omega, manufactured in 1938, just before the introduction of the 30mm caliber in 1939. It is equipped with the Cal. 26.5SOBT2 and features a striking sector dial in the Art Deco style. The index and minute lines are presented in a two-tone matte finish, creating a refined contrast. The blued steel hands extend nearly to the outer edge of the dial, with a broadening form towards the tip that adds to their presence. The slanted Arabic numerals at 3 and 6, the crosshair detail, and the minimal empty space—despite its jumbo size—embody the distinct aesthetics of this era.

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear, preserving the elegant form characteristic of a Calatrava-style design. The case sides maintain a uniform surface, showcasing the original hairline finish. With no notable scratches, the watch exudes a crisp and well-preserved impression. The dial exhibits minor imperfections, but for its age, it remains in remarkable condition.
