サンレイ仕上げのシルバーダイヤルに、ロゴとSWISSの文字のみが配されています。針は根元にくびれを持つペンシルハンド、インデックスは細身のバーとの組み合わせで、シャープな印象を与えます。外周のパールドロップはデボス加工が施され、視認性とデザインのバランスに優れた構成です。ケースは曲線と直線のコントラストが明瞭で、細く長いストレートラグは手首への収まりを意識した設計です。ムーブメントは手巻きのCal.89を搭載しています。販売当時のボックス、ギャランティーペーパー、バックルが付属します。付属する古い革ベルトは、刻印がないため純正かは不明ですが、裏まで同素材にする純正同様の当時物です。

ケースはエッジがしっかりと保たれており、使用に伴う小傷はごくわずかです。側面は高い鏡面性を保ち、裏蓋には当時の販売シールも残されている点が特筆されます。ダイヤルにはわずかな黒点が見られますが、全体的にはエイジングの少ない良好な状態です。針はややくすみが生じていますが、経年変化として落ち着いた表情を見せています。インデックスは光沢を保っており、各角度から鮮明な反射が確認できます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This dress model from IWC features a silver sunburst dial with only the logo and "SWISS" printed—an elegant display of minimalist design. The watch is fitted with pencil hands that taper at the base, paired with slender bar indexes that contribute to a sharp, refined impression. The minute track along the outer edge is rendered in a debossed style, striking a well-balanced harmony between readability and design. The case architecture emphasizes the contrast between curves and straight lines, with long, narrow straight lugs designed for an elegant fit on the wrist. Inside, the watch is powered by the hand-wound Cal. 89 movement.

The case retains sharp edges and shows only minimal signs of wear. The mirror-polished sides remain in excellent condition, and notably, the original retail sticker is still intact on the case back. While the dial has a few small black spots, it remains in overall excellent condition with very limited aging. The hands show mild tarnishing, contributing to a mature and subdued appearance, while the indexes remain glossy and reflect light clearly from all angles. The watch has been fully overhauled by our workshop.

Produced in 1958, this IWC dress watch exemplifies the brand’s refined “Old Inter” style, with a particularly formal aesthetic. Despite being a snap-back case, it features a water-resistant construction, and the presence of the original “fish crown” further enhances its historical appeal. The Cal. 89 movement served as a cornerstone of IWC's mechanical offerings for nearly two decades, and this example is a faithful embodiment of its durable engineering.
