OMEGA Ranchero Centersecond Ref.2996-1 P.N.S.

オメガの名作「ランチェロ」。その中でも極めて珍しいセンターセコンドモデルはRef.2996。堅牢なスナップ防水ケースを採用し、裏蓋は「WATERPROOF」の刻印。中央には「P.N.S.（Pakistan Navy Ship）」の刻印が入り、パキスタン海軍への官給品であったことを物語っています。ダイヤルはブラックマット仕上げ。ロゴや12・3・9のアラビア数字、ロングミニッツすべての表記がギルトです。この初期型のダイヤルには、アローハンドを採用しています。オメガを世界ブランドへと押し上げた伝説的な30mmキャリバーのセンターセコンドタイプを搭載。堅牢性・信頼性において、長きにわたり高く評価され続けているムーブメントです。

ケースはラグに独特のエッジがあり、薄型ながらも力強さを感じさせる造形が現存。大きな打痕や深い傷は見られず、全体としてプロポーションが良好に保たれています。裏蓋のパキスタン海軍刻印は擦れが少なく、はっきりと確認できます。ダイヤルはマットな質感を維持しており、自然の経年を変化を得たヴィンテージコンディションです。ラジウムの夜光塗料は経年により黒く変色しており、針にも同様の経年変化が見られます。分解掃除後に納品させていただきます。

1950年代後半、パキスタン軍はオメガに、ランチェロやシーマスターの官給品を依頼しました。PAF（パキスタン空軍）のRef.135.003やRef.135.007等は一定数確認されていますが、PNSの刻印を持つパキスタン海軍のものは極めて数が少なく、マーケットに出ることはほとんどありません。また当品は最初期の-1であり、Ref.2996としての資料的な価値があります。歴史的背景と希少性を兼ね備えた、非常に貴重な一本です。

COMMENT

Omega's masterpiece "Ranchero". Among them, the extremely rare center second model is Ref. 2996. It uses a robust snap waterproof case, and the back cover is engraved with "WATERPROOF". The center is engraved with "P.N.S (Pakistan Navy Ship)", which tells us that it was an official supply to the Pakistan Navy. The dial is black matte finish. The logo, 12, 3, 9 Arabic numerals, and long minutes are all gilt. This early model dial uses an arrow hand. It is equipped with the legendary 30mm caliber center second type that pushed Omega to become a global brand. It is a movement that has long been highly regarded for its robustness and reliability.

The case has unique edges on the lugs, and although it is thin, it still has a strong shape. There are no large dents or deep scratches, and the overall proportions are well maintained. The Pakistan Navy engraving on the back cover is clearly visible with little rubbing. The dial maintains a matte texture and is in vintage condition with natural aging. The radium luminous material has turned black over time, and the hands have also undergone a similar aging process. The watch will be delivered after disassembly and cleaning.

In the late 1950s, the Pakistani military requested Omega to supply Ranchero and Seamaster models. A certain number of PAF (Pakistan Air Force) Ref. 135.003 ,Ref.135.007 and etc have been confirmed, but the Pakistan Navy models with the "PNS" stamp are extremely rare and rarely appear on the market. This is also one of the earliest -1s, and has documentary value as a Ref. 2996.Combining historical provenance and extreme rarity, this is a truly special piece worthy of any serious collection.
