1958年頃に製造されたオメガ シーマスター カレンダー Ref.2849-4 SCです。ゴールドキャップケースに、中央をシャンパンカラーのサーキュラーサテン仕上げ、外周をアイボリーで仕上げたツートーンダイヤルを組み合わせています。縦横に伸びるクロスラインを基準として、鋭い多面カットのアプライドインデックスとドーフィンハンドを配置。3時位置のデイト表示には立体的なファセットを施した窓枠を備え、初期のシーマスターらしい装飾性と実用性を両立しています。約34mmのケースながら、太く張り出したラグと厚みのあるベゼルによって力強いプロポーションを形成しています。

ケースには使用に伴う細かな傷が見られますが、ゴールドキャップには目立つ剥がれがなく、ラグの稜線と全体のシルエットは良好に保たれています。ツートーンダイヤルには軽微な経年変化が見られるものの、中央の同心円状の筋目と外周の色調差、クロスラインおよび各種プリントは明瞭です。針には経年による変色が見られますが、多面的なインデックスとともに当時の風合いを残しています。Ωマーク入りの純正リューズを備え、裏蓋内側のRef.2849-4 SCをはじめとする刻印も鮮明です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

ムーブメントは20石の自動巻Cal.503を搭載。バンパー式から全面回転ローター式へ移行した初期のオメガ500系に属し、双方向巻き上げとセンターセコンド、デイト表示を備えています。毎時19,800振動で、日付は針を往復させて進めるセミクイック式です。立体的なツートーンダイヤル、ゴールドキャップの外装、初期フルローター自動巻を組み合わせた本作は、1950年代のシーマスターが持つ華やかさと機械的な進化を同時に楽しめる一本です。

Produced around 1958, this Omega Seamaster Calendar Ref.2849-4 SC combines a gold-capped case with a two-tone dial. The champagne-colored center is finished with circular satin brushing, while the outer section is rendered in ivory. Vertical and horizontal crosshairs provide the framework for sharply faceted applied indexes and dauphine hands. The date display at 3 o’clock is framed by a raised, faceted surround, balancing the decorative character of an early Seamaster with practical functionality. Although the case measures approximately 34mm, its broad projecting lugs and substantial bezel give it strong proportions.

The case shows fine scratches from use, though the gold cap displays no notable loss, and the defined lines of the lugs and overall silhouette remain well preserved. The two-tone dial shows minor aging, while the concentric grain of the central section, the tonal distinction of the outer track, the crosshairs, and the printed details all remain clear. The hands display some age-related discoloration but retain a coherent period appearance alongside the multifaceted indexes. The original Ω-signed crown remains fitted, and the markings inside the case back, including Ref.2849-4 SC, are clearly legible. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Inside is the 20-jewel automatic Cal.503. Part of Omega’s early 500-series movements, it reflects the transition from bumper automatics to a full-rotor system and features bidirectional winding, central seconds, and a date display. It operates at 19,800 vibrations per hour, with a semi-quick-set date advanced by moving the hands back and forth. Combining a dimensional two-tone dial, gold-capped case, and early full-rotor automatic movement, this example presents both the decorative appeal and mechanical development of the Seamaster during the 1950s.
