洗練された印象を受ける樽型Cラインのケースは、ジェラルド・ジェンタがデザインを手がけ、1970年前後によく見られました。後期型のガラス型風防に比べ、前期型のドーム型風防で、ヴィンテージテイストが堪能できます。フラットの鏡面仕上げのスムースベゼルは、ヘアラインのケースとの対比が図られておりスポーティーです。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げを採用。バーインデックスのセンター位置とペンシルハンドはブラックの塗装が施され、読時性に優れた設計です。カレンダー枠の複雑なカッティングにも、繊細な作り込みが感じられます。

ケースは良好な状態を保っています。使用に伴う傷はわずかに見られますが、側面やラグのエッジが立っており、シャープな印象を与えます。針はくすみや傷がなく、良好なコンディションを維持しています。インデックスはファセットの立体感が際立ち、仕上げの美しさが保たれています。ブラックのプリントは崩れがなく、高い視認性を維持しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The refined tonneau-shaped C-line case, designed by Gérald Genta, is emblematic of the late 1960s to early 1970s aesthetic. This example features the earlier domed acrylic crystal, which offers a distinctly vintage character compared to the later flat mineral glass version. The polished smooth bezel contrasts elegantly with the brushed finish of the case, lending the watch a sporty yet sophisticated appeal. The dial is finished in a silver sunburst pattern, with black-painted pencil hands and centrally accented bar indexes designed for enhanced legibility. The intricately faceted date window adds a subtle touch of craftsmanship.

The case remains in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of use. The edges of the lugs and case sides are sharp and well-defined, contributing to a crisp overall appearance. The hands are free of oxidation or marks and remain in very good condition. The faceted indexes retain their dimensionality and fine finishing, while the black printing on the dial remains crisp and fully intact for optimal legibility. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our watchmakers.
