落ち着きあるパールホワイトダイヤルに、人気のダイヤモンドカットインデックスを組み合わせた、1950年代ならではの華やかな意匠が魅力です。長年製造が続くシーマスターは世代ごとに印象が異なりますが、本世代は安定した500系ムーブメントと、50年代らしいクラシックなデザインを楽しめます。ケースは「防水スナップ」構造で、ミドルケースと裏蓋で厚いパッキンに圧力をかける当時の標準的防水仕様です。現代では水濡れを避けてご使用ください。ケースバックは人気のビッグシーマスターです。

搭載するCal.503は日付の簡易早送り機構を備え、時刻合わせで針を往復させて日付を送る「往復送り」が可能です。巻き上げ時には小気味よいビーズを転がすような音が響き、機械の働きを感じさせます。

ダイヤルはミントコンディションで清潔感にあふれ、ゴールドケースとの調和がムーディで上品な印象を与えます。針やインデックスは輝きを保ち、ケースは理想的です。面取りラグを含め当時のフォルムを崩さずに維持しています。リューズはシーマスター専用の厚みある純正品が装着され、ディテールまで整った一本です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This example pairs a refined pearl-white dial with the ever-popular diamond-cut indexes, embodying the elegant decorative style characteristic of the 1950s. While the Seamaster line has evolved through many generations, this era stands out for its reliable 500-series movement and classic mid-century design. The case features a “waterproof snap” construction, in which the mid-case and case back compress a thick gasket — the standard water-resistant specification of the period. As with all vintage pieces, it should be kept away from water in modern use.

Powered by the Cal. 503, the watch is equipped with a semi-quickset date function. By moving the hands back and forth during time setting, the date can be advanced — a feature known as “back-and-forth” date change. The winding produces a satisfying, bead-like click, offering a tangible connection to the movement’s mechanics.

The dial is in mint condition, exuding a fresh, clean appearance that pairs beautifully with the gold case for a mood-rich, elegant impression. The hands and indexes retain their luster, and the case — including its faceted lugs — preserves its original form. The crown is the thick, Seamaster-specific original, underscoring the completeness of the details. Disassembly and cleaning have been carried out by us.
