文字盤は全数字のアラビアインデックスを配したクラシカルな構成で、細身の針と外周のミニッツトラックが端正な表情を作ります。秒針のテールは珍しい意匠です。最大の特徴は、ケースから大きく張り出すファンシーラグ。ふっくらとした立体感を持たせながら先端へ向けて絞り込まれる独特の形状で、一般的な直線的なラグとは異なる華やかな印象をもたらします。ステンレススチールケースにゴールドカラーのラグを組み合わせた、目を引く意匠です。

Ref. 4417 is a distinctive early Rolex wristwatch. Its classically arranged dial features full Arabic numerals, complemented by slender hands and a peripheral minute track for a clean, balanced appearance. The seconds hand is distinguished by its unusually shaped tail. Most notable are the fancy lugs, which extend prominently from the case. Their full, sculpted form tapers toward the tips, lending the watch a more decorative presence than conventional straight lugs. The combination of a stainless steel case and gold-tone lugs further emphasizes its unusual design.

The case shows minor signs of wear consistent with age, while the dimensional contours of the fancy lugs remain well preserved. The dial displays fine age-related changes throughout, complemented by evenly arranged numerals and a clearly defined minute track, giving the watch an appealing vintage character.
