1970年代らしいクッション型ケース×トリコカラーダイアルのゾディアック。防水スナップ、ラウンドプッシャーの防水仕様です。ケース上面はサンバースト状のヘアライン仕上げ、ケースサイドは鏡面仕上げです。ダイアルは主にブラック、グレー、レッドの3色で構成されています。針にはホワイトとオレンジを採用しており、優れた読時性能を誇ります。ムーブメントはバルジュー7734搭載。一般的に見られる30分のバージョンではなく、45分のレジスターを備えたバージョンを採用しています。６時位置にデイト表示を備えています。

ケースは使用に伴う小傷の見られない、エッジが美しく残るコンディションです。ダイアルはミントコンディションで非常に清潔感のあるお品です。針や夜光塗料にはエイジングが見られます。濃いベージュカラーに変化しており、レッドプリントのマッチングは格別です。当店にて分解掃除済みですので、ご購入後すぐにお使いいただけます。

ストップレバーを搭載した搭載ムーブメント7734は、元々Venus社の188をValjoux社が継承して作っているものです。60年代後半から70年代の多くのメーカーで採用されていました。現行品で多くのメーカーが使用しているETA社の自動巻クロノグラフ7750の元になっていると言っても過言ではありません。

This Zodiac timepiece embodies the distinctive style of the 1970s with its cushion-shaped case and a Tricompax-color dial. The watch features a waterproof snap and round pushers for enhanced water resistance. The top of the case is finished with a sunburst pattern in a hairline finish, while the sides have a polished mirror finish. The dial is predominantly composed of black, gray, and red, providing a bold and vibrant appearance. The use of white and orange for the hands ensures excellent legibility. It houses the Valjoux 7734 movement, featuring a 45-minute register at the 6 o'clock position and a date display.

The case is in excellent condition, showcasing minimal scratches and retaining beautiful edges. The dial is in mint condition, exuding a sense of cleanliness. Aging is visible on the hands and luminescent paint, taking on a rich beige color, complementing the red print exceptionally well. Having undergone disassembly and cleaning at our shop, this watch is ready for use right after purchase.

The movement, Valjoux 7734, equipped with a stop lever, is an evolution of the Venus 188 produced by Valjoux after inheriting it. Widely adopted by many manufacturers in the late 1960s and 1970s, it laid the foundation for the current ETA automatic chronograph movement 7750, utilized by numerous brands.
