Ref.1016マットダイヤルマーク3(日本内では2型と説明されることがあります）。3.6milから4.1mil番代まで、1975年から1976年に作られた個体のマーク3は1016の中でもそつがなく、最もクラシックなレイアウトです。フォントはそれまでのゴシック調から明朝へと変化し、洗練されます。ブレスレットは20mm無垢のRef.78360、クラスプコードA 、エンドリンクは580番を装備しています。

搭載ムーブメントはCal.1570はクロノメーター仕様。1960年代半ばから1980年代後半までの長期間に渡って製造され、ロレックス社製ムーブメントの中でも、精度と耐久性のバランスが取れた傑作ムーブメントとして、高い評価を獲得しています。1016ではMK3よりハック機能が完全に搭載されます。

It features a transition in font style from the previous Gothic to Roman, lending it a more refined appearance. The bracelet is a solid 20mm Ref.78360, with clasp code A, and it comes with end links numbered 580.
