Seamaster
Introduced in 1948, the Seamaster is one of OMEGA’s defining collections, originally developed with an emphasis on water resistance and everyday practicality. Unlike the dive watches now commonly associated with the name, early Seamaster models were typically housed in refined round cases, offering a balance that made them equally suited to daily wear and more formal settings.
Vintage Seamaster watches can be found in a wide range of configurations, including center seconds, small seconds, date displays, and crosshair dials. Within their relatively simple designs, variations in case shape, indexes, hands, and dial finishing reveal the character of each period, reflecting the practicality and understated refinement that defined OMEGA in the 1950s and 1960s.
